As a Manager, Business Operations, Planning & Analysis you will:

• Support the Eastern region’s Director of Operations to both lead and assist in the execution of internal client service strategy, projects and initiatives
• Support Partners in the Eastern region in the planning process, development and execution of business unit strategy
• Complete a review and analyses of business unit financial statements and management reports, and provide recommendations for corrective action, in a timely manner
• Be responsible for a variety of ad hoc analyses pertaining to financial performance, client profitability and practice profitability
• Be responsible for ensuring appropriate internal controls over procurement and expenses are in place at the business unit level
• Provide ongoing management of work-in-progress and accounts receivable within the business units
• Lead and manage all budget preparation and reforecasting for the business units
• Coordinate training for end users on finance-related systems
• Work with procurement manager to comply with national vendor programs within the business units
• Assist with and supervise infrastructure and facility related matters including office services, space planning, renovations, capital budgeting, lease maintenance and renewals
• Serve as primary contact for suppliers and vendors for program implementation, contract negotiations and strategic sourcing within the business units
• Provide leadership to and work collaboratively with the resource and planning function and those in charge of resource allocation within the business units

• You have an accounting designation and a minimum of 5 years’ experience, ideally with a professional services firm in a service delivery capacity
• You are comfortable with technology and possesses advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel in particular) plus experience with professional services firm information management systems would be an asset
• You possess a high degree of skill and awareness relating to virtual team set up and collaboration
• You are agile and able to adapt to a variety of environments, changing priorities, and different communication and operating styles
• You have strong project management skills and a proven ability to develop and execute project plans on time and on budget, including the ability to establish a work plan, identify priorities, and accurately report progress
• You have demonstrated the ability to resolve issues in timely, diplomatic and effective manner
• You have intellectual curiosity that drives you to look further, broader, deeper
• You are resourceful with an ability to incorporate ingenuity in the provision of creative solutions that meet client needs
• You have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence a variety of stakeholders and core/extended team members
• You are fiercely committed to helping our clients, colleagues and communities thrive
• You are willing to travel on a regular basis within the region as required
