The Atlantic
Immigrant Career Loan Fund (AICLF)
The AICLF is a micro-loan fund for internationally
trained immigrants in Atlantic Canada. Providing micro-loans to newcomers
allows them to overcome financial barriers to upgrade their skills and obtain
their license or certification so that they can:
- Practice
their occupation, regulated or unregulated
- Find
opportunities in field or a related field
- Change
career to adjust to the labour market needs

Internationally Educated Accountants Bridging Program (IEA)
This 6-month bridging program is a unique combination of a professional-specific communication course, a job search workshop and a paid, on-the-job competency assessment/job placement. Through highly practical classes and workshops, taught by experienced instructors from ISANS, participants will gain incomparable experience and be job-ready. Participants will also gain 12-week accounting work experience and have their competencies validated by an employer. Certification of completion will be awarded to graduates.
