The Common Final Examination (CFE) results were released today, and CPA Nova Scotia proudly recognizes the success of 35 Nova Scotia candidates. This is the first year CPA Canada has offered two writings of its three-day final exam, one in May 2021 and one in September 2021. CPA Canada’s decision to hold a second offering was based on providing flexibility around a key component of the certification process.
The CFE assesses candidates seeking a CPA designation on the technical and enabling competencies outlined in the CPA Competency Map. It is an integral part of the Canadian CPA certification program, including three years of in-depth education and practical work experience.
The team at CPA Nova Scotia offers sincere congratulations to the successful writers of the CFE.
“Congratulations to the Nova Scotia candidates who passed the exam. This is an incredibly difficult exam. They are now one step closer to becoming Chartered Professional Accountants, and we look forward to welcoming them to our membership,” Patricia Towler, President and CEO, CPA Nova Scotia
