CPA Nova Scotia Member Recognition Program

The call for nominations is now closed.

CPA Nova Scotia is proud to recognize our Members for the leadership and excellence they show in their contributions to the profession and to their communities.  This year we have added two new awards to the program in addition to the Fellows designation.  They include the Early Achievement Award and the Unsung Hero Award.

The call for nominations is now open.  Any completed nomination packages must be submitted to Carolyn Gaskin at no later than May 3, 2019.  Recipients will be honoured at the Member Awards Banquet on November 22, 2019 at the Prince George Hotel in Halifax.

More information about the criteria for each of the awards and the nomination packages can be found below.

Fellows Designation (FCPA)

The title of Fellow CPA formally recognizes those Members whose achievements in their careers or in the community have earned them distinction and brought honour to the profession.

Early Achievement Award

This award is given to a Member in good standing who demonstrates achievement and an ongoing commitment to excellence in his/her professional and/or community involvement within the first ten years of Membership.

Unsung Hero Award

This award is given to a Member who demonstrates dedication, commitment and outstanding service to individuals or groups within the community.  It is for unpaid, grassroots activities and is intended to honour an "unsung hero" among our Members.
